ABC North East was formed to provide small businesses with a flexible service by people who understand the demands of running a business. Our mission is to allow you to focus on adding value to your business, not only by taking care of your accounting function but by providing valuable information to help you grow. Based in Bearpark, Durham we provide services to small and medium sized businesses both on a local and national level.


Dawn Brown BSc Hons ACA
After graduating from the University of Hull with a first class honours degree in Accountancy, Dawn went on to qualify as a Chartered Accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Hull. Here she gained extensive experience dealing with clients from small family owned businesses through to multi-national Plcs. After leaving PwC, Dawn worked in Internal Audit for Comet Group Plc before going on to become a Finance Manager. Due to relocation, Dawn moved up to the North-East and set up her own practice in order to provide a cost effective and friendly service to businesses, cutting through the jargon, Dawn aims to make your tax and accounting as simple as A B C.
